Sun Ruizhe is also optimistic about the development of China's fashion industry. "Chinese society is changing to a consumption oriented country, and the fashion industry with the characteristics of creative culture and personality consumption will usher in a historical opportunity." Sun Ruizhe pointed out that the history of world development shows that when the per capita GDP exceeds 1000 dollars, a country's economy will enter a new development period, and consumption demand will be upgraded to development and enjoyment. According to the data released by the International Monetary Fund (micro-blog), China's per capita GDP reached 5414 US dollars in 2011.


At the same time, modernization is also a major factor supporting the development of industry. "Urbanization will undoubtedly bring great impetus to the transformation of Chinese society, the transformation of people's life style and the improvement of consumption level." Sun Ruizhe explained that China's modernization drive is marked by industrialization, agricultural modernization and urbanization. China's urbanization rate will reach 65% to 70% in 2030, which means that in less than 20 years, the urban population will increase by 300 million. At present, the income of urban residents is 3.1 times the income of rural residents, and per capita consumption is about 3 times.


In Sun Ruizhe's view, in the next 20 years, the important proposition of China's fashion industry is how to position itself in the context of increasing consumption level and diversifying consumer demand. To grasp the fashion of the masses is to truly grasp the right of fashion discourse.


  Fashion chip is still missing.


In the view of many analysts, lack of creativity is one of the important factors hindering the development of China's fashion industry. So what hinders the promotion of creative value added?


Sun Ruizhe pointed out: "China's creative design ability is still relatively weak, the Incubation Mechanism of creative talents is not perfect enough, and there is also lack of effective capital investment, lack of systematic technical support and practical support for large-scale production capacity. In addition, there is a vacuum in intellectual property protection for creative design. "


If we want to break through this bottleneck, Sun Ruizhe believes that first of all, we should innovate our ideas and speed up the integration with the cultural industries such as communications, publishing, film and television, music, advertising and so on. Secondly, technological innovation, ecological environmental protection and intelligence can bring sustainable development power and more flexible interaction mode; third, platform innovation, so that communication can create greater added value, so that Chinese brands have more fashion discourse power.


Jin Bei, director of the Institute of industrial economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, emphasized the importance of culture. He pointed out that "China's enterprises and products have low cultural content and high profit seeking tendency, and the source of fundamental culture is not clear." China's industrialization must follow a highly differentiated route, and fashion industry is also the same.


It is worth mentioning that many local governments have made clear plans to patch up the gap of the fashion industry. "Shanghai will add two special funds from the angle of financial support. One is the special fund for brand development, which encourages the development of independent brands and the remodeling and revitalization of old brands and old ones. The two is the special support fund for the creative design industry to encourage the development of Shanghai's creative design industry." Liu Jian, deputy director of Shanghai economic and Information Committee, revealed on the forum.
